LeisureXChange Corporation
LXC is the operating company through which we take interim and fractional executive roles, run turnarounds, and deliver commercial and technology advisory to travel, lodging, and hospitality technology businesses. Engagements are contracted, invoiced, and delivered under this entity.
Thirty years of operating history sits behind it, across hotels, resorts, rental portfolios, distribution platforms, and the boards that govern them.
What We Do
Scoped to the problem. Some engagements are one of these; the harder ones are all four.
We take the chief executive seat when it is vacant or when the board needs a different operator in it, run the business, and hand it back to the board or to the permanent CEO we recruit.
Declining revenue, flat visitation, a saturated market, a culture problem nobody wants to name. We diagnose it from the inside and rebuild the team and the operating model around what the business actually needs.
Positioning, brand assets, distribution mix, pricing, customer acquisition and retention, built outward from the specific property or product rather than from a template.
Sourcing the systems a business actually needs and the integrations between them, then structuring the supplier and partner agreements so the model still runs after we leave.

Where We Work
Vacation rental, short-term and mid-term rental — property management, distribution, revenue management, payments, and the platforms underneath. Hotels and resorts — full and limited service, domestic and international, opened and operated. Tourism and attractions — railroads, museums, community assets, and the public-private structures that govern them. Hospitality technology — SaaS, PMS, channel management, central reservations, CRM. Timeshare and fractional — exchange, points and weeks, destination clubs. Private equity and family offices — portfolio oversight and operator accountability.
Selected Brands

This is a selection. The full track record lists roughly 100 brands across eight categories, plus the engagements behind them.
Who We Are
LXC is led by Eric Mason. Thirty years in travel, lodging, and the technology those industries run on, on both sides of the table: recruited by Marriott out of East Carolina University to run operations at the 1,800-room Marquis in Times Square, then four years opening and rebuilding Caribbean resorts, then two decades building and selling the platforms the industry now runs on.
At Cendant and Wyndham Worldwide he led new product and corporate development through the acquisition of dozens of European vacation rental brands and more than 70,000 properties. He has since founded or co-founded six companies and communities, sold or divested six businesses, and served as interim chief executive for boards, commissions, and founders across lodging, technology, tourism, and higher education.
Eric also takes occasional engagements under the Yes.Consulting flag, a boutique advisory to the vacation rental industry working across the UK, EU, US and Asia.
